    Kinkaku-ji

A building registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Many foreigners visit this place, so it is a tourist attraction that you must visit when traveling to Kyoto Prefecture. As you would expect from a famous tourist destination, the park is kept clean and you can walk around comfortably. On weekdays, you can enjoy sightseeing at your leisure. On weekends and holidays, the park is crowded with tourists. As you walk through the park for a while after passing through the entrance fee area, you will see a magnificent building decorated in gold. Its beauty attracts people who see it, and many tourists take pictures of it. Additionally, the promenade has been designed to allow you to get a closer look at the buildings, so you can take even more impressive photos. There are other attractions dotted around the park, such as Ashihara Island, Yoshigashi, and Ginga Izumi, making it a famous place where you can fully feel the history of the park. The promenade within the park is well maintained as shown in the photo above, making it very easy to walk. At the entrance, there is a corner with keychains and souvenirs unique to Kinkakuji. There are many satisfying shops that are typical of a tourist destination. There are also shops that sell soft serve ice cream, so it might be good for your flushed body.

    Kiyomizu-dera

It is a particularly popular tourist spot in Kyoto City. You can see the famous Shimizu stage. Of course you can visit the shrine, but you can't miss Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, which have been designated as Important Traditional Buildings Preservation Districts. You can shop for souvenirs and eat while enjoying the typical Kyoto scenery. It's perfect for sightseeing as there are many souvenir shops that are typical of good old Japan, such as candy shops, pickled plum shops, tea shops, chirimen craft shops, and folding fan shops! It's also fun to take the plunge and rent a kimono while sightseeing. There are buses, but overtourism is a problem in the area, so we recommend using the train.

    Hoodo hall (Phoenix hall)

Byodoin Phoenix Hall, one of the World Heritage Sites, is located in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture. This is the historic building depicted on the back of the 10 yen coin. After paying the admission fee, you will walk about 100 meters along a nicely paved road. When you finish walking, the Phoenix Hall will pop up in front of you. There is a building depicted on the 10 yen coin, so I am impressed. However, since it is either on the side or the back, you can walk along the promenade to the front, where many tourists take photos of its history. You can also see the inside of the Phoenix Hall, although there is an additional charge (300 yen). Each session is limited to 50 people, and you will be accompanied by a professional staff member. There will be an explanation about the history and cultural assets in front of the National Treasure, the busted statue of Amida Nyorai. As you walk along the promenade, you will come to a building called ``Hoshokan''. Many national treasures are on display in the building, and you can see another version of Byodo-in Temple. Inside, you can see the national treasure "Phoenix" depicted on the 10,000 yen bill. They are displayed in pairs, so they are very impressive. There is a souvenir corner on the 2nd floor of Hoshokan, and there are many souvenir goods unique to Byodoin Hououdo that will remain as memories of your trip.
